Giant Wave Pool

Double Barrel
Wet’n’Wild’s new Double Barrel ride is an exhilarating ride not to be missed! Calypso Beach
For a slower pace experience, relax in the huge zone that is Calypso Beach. It’s like a world of its own! Sky Coaster

The Wizard of Oz-themed area”, opening in 2024
Warner Bros. Movie World is set to open a brand new Wizard of Oz-themed area in 2024, giving visitors the chance to step into the classic film and explore the world of their favourite characters. The precinct will be the first of its kind in the world, and will feature family-friendly rides with low height and age restrictions, making it suitable for families with young children.
Exciting and captivating for all ages, visitors can immerse themselves in the classic movie with projection mapping, sculptures and facades. You’ll feel like you’re part of the story and feel like you’re a part of it.
Exclusive new rides and attractions just for The Wizard of Oz include a suspended coaster and boomerang racer, as well as features iconic elements like the Wicked Witch’s castle and Dorothy’s Kansas farm. Wet’n’Wild is located off the Pacific Motorway, approximately 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 45 minutes from Brisbane. You will find it nestled among other famous Village Roadshow Theme Parks including Warner Bros Movie World, Australian Outback Spectacular, and Paradise Country. All of which are located in Oxenford. Dreamworld is a short 5-minute drive from Wet’n’Wild, in Coomera.
The opening hours for Wet’n’Wild vary depending on the time of year. In winter, the park is open from 10 am to 4 pm, while in summer it is open until 7 pm. The water park is closed on Tuesdays during the off-peak season. Please check the website for specific opening times before you visit.
Nearby Theme Parks
As mentioned, there are several nearby theme parks owned by the Village Roadshow Group, including Warner Bros Movie World, Australian Outback Spectacular, and Paradise Country. The close proximity of these theme parks makes it very convenient to hop around from park to park. Also, don’t forget that Wet’n’Wild is a short 5-minute drive from Dreamworld!
Sea World is not located among these parks – it can be found an approximately 22-minute drive away in Main Beach.
